Monthly poem (December '11/ January '12)

Time prevails

The year is gone and nothing more
what have we won we should adore?
The tales of yesterday remain
until their history is plain.

We're looking forward to New Year,
the time that tore is still to bear,
its head, alive and dead, its tail,
the pain that's in between must bail.

The way to new life's remedy
for me and you is what we see;
to overcome is duty's might,
which keeps the watching past in sight.
